The Ranger Parawing is a single-skin parawing with ultra-short bridles, designed to lift you into the foil with the wind and then fold down so you can foil hands-free using the power of the sea. The Ranger incorporates North's unique D-Rib technology, which diagonally reinforces the canopy for better load distribution and reduces the number of bridles. This provides stability when depowering and precise response even with subtle movements. It also includes the innovative Depower Tab, located mid-line on the fluorescent yellow bridle, which acts as a "handbrake" for quickly releasing power and can be attached to the end of the bar for riding with less power. The color-coded canopy and bridles make setup and relaunch easier, while the black leading edge improves visual orientation in flight. The Ranger packs into a lightweight, compact backpack designed for carrying on the water, with room to add a deflated wing or a second parawing. You can carry one size in your hand and two more in the backpack to switch between different wind sizes without having to return to shore. The bag drains quickly and features recycled shoulder straps that are comfortable over wetsuits and vests. The Ranger is expanding downwind foiling spots. It's also ideal for freestyle or freeride on land with a skateboard or mountainboard, or on ice with skates or skis.
