Parawing
North Ranger
Delivery 5/6 business days. The Ranger Parawing is a single-skin parawing with ultra-short lines, designed to lift you onto your foil with the wind and then fold away so you can foil hands-free using the ocean's power. The Ranger incorporates North's exclusive D-Rib technology, which diagonally reinforces the canopy for better load distribution and to reduce the number of lines. This provides stability when depowered and precise response even with subtle movements. It also includes the innovative Depower Tab, located mid-line on the fluorescent yellow line, which acts as a “handbrake” to quickly release power and can be hooked to the end of the bar for sailing with less power. The color-coded canopy and lines make setup and relaunch easier, while the black leading edge improves visual orientation in flight. The Ranger packs into a lightweight, compact backpack, designed to be carried on the water.
Ranger Parawing Features
- Efficient upwind and downwind sailing
- D-Ribs support the canopy diagonally for optimal load distribution
- The canopy remains stable when depowered with the bar
- Ultra-short lines for easier deployment and retrieval
